I picked up programming and website development as a hobby during my freshman year of high school in 2013, and soon fell in love with both hobbies. I pursued web development for the next several year, learning, to various degrees, all five of the major web development languages. I created a variety of websites during this time, many of them for my highschool. My junior year of high school, 2015, I went ahead and began learning Android and iOS development, while continuing several larger scale web projects I had begun earlier. In 2017, I worked with a group of seven other high school students to create a mobile application for Pattonville School District that showed off district news, calendar events, and relevant links for both the iOS and Android platforms.
I am currently a student at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, studying marine science and computer science, with potential minors in mathematics and computer engineering.
Besides programming and development, I vastly enjoy science, including astronomy (I own my own telescope!) and biology, as well as nature in general. I have a special love for the ocean and all of the animals and creatures that live there; especially marine mammals like seals, sea lions, and whales. I enjoy traveling, and hope to see all 52 US National Parks (I am on 24!) as well as Greece and Rome, Australia, Antarctica, and the Galapagos Islands. In my remaining free time, I love to read and watch NHL hockey.
